An important part of the tavern is the music played.  We play mostly garage/punk type music with a bit of ska and other genres thrown in for good measure.  No Top 40 or pop.  There's enough bars around for that kind of stuff.

If you'd like to do more than drink, talk and listen to music, we also have a couple of pools tables, a dart board, cribbage and other such distractions.

There is a patio hidden out back that actually won Best Patio two years ago in the Ottawa Express "Best Of Ottawa" issue.  But beware, this is no chi-chi patio.  This is mini-picnic tables you move around as you wish with shading provided by a large tree, surrounded by four walls.  Very conducive to just sitting down and talking with friends while wasting an evening.   This winter a tent has been set up on the patio for obvious reasons, compliments of your local city council.
